Business Excellence Award Nominations

Nominations are now open for the Surrey Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards. If you know of an excellent business, or even if you run one yourself, why not fill out and send in a nomination form now. The deadline is 5pm, Wednesday September 15, 2010.

Anyone can nominate a business or individual for a Surrey Business Excellence Award and self-nominations are accepted. A Surrey Board of Trade membership is not required, although the business must be based in Surrey.

Each year at a fall black tie event, we showcase the best of Surrey's businesses, as judged by their peers. The objective is to help local organizations improve their performance while providing an introduction to business assessment and business excellence models.

• 1 to 5 employees
• 6 to 20 employees
• 21+ employees
• Not for Profit/Associations- those with budget UNDER $500,000
• Not for Profit/Associations- those with a budget OVER $500,000
• Business Person of the Year-All business/not-for-profit leaders qualify
• New Business of the Year- All Surrey businesses in operation for less than 3 years qualify
• Student Entrepreneur of the Year -Students should be less than 25 years old in the year of application, be enrolled in any elementary, secondary, college or university, and be running a revenue producing business in Surrey.
